Makeover!
There is oddness in the air

5-Second Soapbox

I wasn’t even going to touch the whole Britney thing because, you know, ew, but then I ran across this quote:

"This girl is out of control," Joy Behar, a co-host on ABC's "The View," said Monday. "And, she's in a lot of trouble. A lot of people feel this is self-mutilation."

Has the whole world gone mad? Seriously.  It’s HAIR! I’m not saying she doesn’t need some help, especially considering the partying while she has kids at home, but it’s still… just… hair.

There are more important issues, people.

Self-mutilation? Um, if that were the case, wouldn't all stylists and barbers be behind bars?

And they think Britney's insane...

Lisa

I'm tellin' you. It's a smokescreen to focus the attention back on her fat, sorry arse cuz she's tired of the embalmed "I'm a really important nobody" hogging all the limelight.

To quote a Rolling Stone article I read yesterday on why the President's budget (which gives a bigger tax-break to the Walton family than the proposed cuts in Medicaid) was being ignored while people are obsessing over Britney:

"Britney Spears was an idiot last Thursday, an idiot on Friday and an idiot on both Saturday and Sunday. She was, shockingly, also an idiot on Monday. It will be news when she stops being an idiot, and we'll know when that happens, because she'll have disappeared for the good of the planet. Britney Spears cutting her hair off is the least-worthy front-page news story in the history of humanity"

THANK you, Rolling Stone!

I think us non-insane people need to take over.

Okay...so Brittney? Eww. We waste way too much time on her yet I still find myself searching out her latest disaster. Why? It's like not being able to stop yourself from slowing down to rubberneck at an accident on the highway. It happens and for some strange reason we are all drawn to it.
Whatever.
On the shaved head thing? I too have shaved my head. It was wonderfully liberating and I will probably at some point do it again. Fresh starts and all...May
Still..totally not newsworthy.
Thanks for visiting my site! I didn't think anyone read it...

minnie

i always loved a girl with a shaved head. although really, only a small potion of the population can pull it off.

the weirdgirl

I, too, think chicks with shaved heads rock... if they can pull it off.

Poor Britney. Poor poor Britney.

Mitch McDad

Self mutilation??? I was always told it's called male pattern baldness.
